Anatomie et imagerie oro-faciale : support pédagogique destiné aux étudiants de deuxième cycle en odontologie

Abstract : Orofacial anatomy is studied at the beginning of the course, while imaging techniques and radiological semiology are taught a few years later. The student, or even the practitioner may therefore have difficulty recognizing the anatomical structures during the radiological analysis of his patients. This observation, described since the beginning of the 20th century, led to the proposal of a subject that integrates medical imaging into the learning of anatomy so as not to dissociate them: radio-anatomy. The objective of this work is to create a pedagogical support for students that allows to combine anatomical sections, made in the anatomy laboratory, to radiological sections in different planes of space. The first part describes the anatomy teaching given during the 1st cycle. The second part presents the orofacial-imaging program during the 2nd cycle. The third part offers an educational support in digital form accessible on the ENT of the Faculty of Odontology of Marseille.
