L'intelligence touristique territoriale vendéenne : interopérabilité du système d'acteurs

Abstract : This study is part of a global framework of interfaces between coastal tourist areas and their hinterland. The first observation, source of research, is the existence of links and oppositions between these spaces through online promotion speeches. The research ground is the department of Vendée. This involves the application of territorial tourism intelligence through the institutional actors of tourism and understanding the interoperability of the Vendée tourist areas. This study is based on qualitative interviews carried out on the field between 2015 and 2017. The study begins with an analysis of landscape diversity in Vendée in terms of tourism offerings and territorial identities. To understand links and no-links, « boundary objects » are identified. Relations between territories are, however, subject to information, identities or governance constraints.
