La codisciplinarité au cœur des cours de FLE intégrés au Curriculum Primaire International : le cas de la section primaire du Lycée Français International de Hong Kong

Abstract : The international primary stream of the French international school of Hong Kong, (LFI) has chosen to implement a new curriculum from the 2017-2018 school year, by selecting the International Primary Curriculm (IPC) and training their teaching staff to use this peculiar but motivating way to teach and to be taught. However, the position of foreign languages, in our case French as a foreign language (FLE), was yet to be defined and to be integrated in the methodology of this British curriculum. Through the analysis of the IPC, of the context and of the different educational partners’ needs, I was able to bring out a key notion which allowed me to take advantage of this curriculum to motivate the learners of French. Can the co-disciplinarity within the IPC and its methodology inspired from different pedagogical movements motivate learners in the French class?
