Validité diagnostique des diabètes post-transplantation rénale, implications avec les complications rénales, infectieuses et cardio-vasculaires

Abstract : Post-transplantation diabetes mellitus is a common complication in kidney transplant recipients. Its prevalence is increasing with time, aging of this population, increase of overweight and obesity prevalence, widely use of tacrolimus. The diagnoses of these diabetes are difficult, because of the occurrence of post-transplant transient hyperglycaemia, making complex the management of this pathology. The implications in terms of morbidity and mortality of these pathologies are also significant. The literature has shown that retrospective diagnoses of post-transplantation diabetes mellitus are twice as prevalent as diagnoses made during follow-up. It has therefore been explored in the renal transplantation unit of the CHU of Bordeaux the retrospective validity of diagnoses of post-transplant diabetes mellitus from 2011 to 2015, as well as the implications of these diabetes in term of post-transplant complications, such as graft function, cardiovascular and infectious diseases.
