Réduction de la dépendance à l'importation de matières riches en protéines des élevages bovins et porcins bretons

Abstract : The Britany is a breeding land. This specialization forced the area to be dependent on the importation of high protein matters like genetically modified soybean meal to feed the animals. However, the volatile price of soybean impact the profitability of Bretons breeding farms. Moreover, the soybean crop has a lot of impact on the environment. Hence, an increase demand of the consumers appears for animal quality products in order to minimize these impacts. It’s in this context, this study is lead to initiate strategies and actions for the Breton cooperative Triskalia to reduce the dependency of its agriculture quality sectors for cattle and pig farms. The main strategy is to develop the soybean, faba bean and lupine crops in the Breton territory to produce local vegetable protein to substitute the imported protein. The creation of a multi criteria design aid enables to select these crops. Propositions of innovative product opportunities from an approach with a Need Seeker strategy and Lead Users method use investigations. These propositions enable for the cooperative to initiate actions to propose good and services for these farmers in order to develop these crops in their farms and in the cooperative. There are especially based on the soybean development. In fact, faba beans is already developing in the cooperative and lupine need an implication of the cooperative in agronomy research programs to stabilize his yield.
