Intérêts de la thérapie laser à basse énergie dans le traitement du lichen plan oral

Abstract : Oral lichen is a common condition of the oral cavity whose main treatment is topical corticosteroid therapy. The treatment is symptomatic and rarely curative. Some oral lichen planus are resistant to drug therapeutics. In addition, the iatrogenic risk remains possible. The use of low level laser therapy has proved to be of great interest in many medical fields. The objective of this study is to evaluate its interest in the treatment of oral lichen planus by comparing it with conventional therapeutics. We conducted a review of the literature and found a meta-analysis, two systematic reviews and 10 clinical studies. The most relevant data have been extracted and constitute the work of this thesis.
