Les dispositifs mis en place pour favoriser l’enseignement dans les classes à cours multiples

Abstract : The topic of this thesis is teaching in a multigrade classroom. It’s easy to think that the workload is more important in a classroom where there are two grades, and therefore two curriculums to study, to prepare and time to share. We have nevertheless to look after each grade equitably : the different grade doesn’t have to suffer from the fact that they are in a multigrade classroom. Then we asked ourself what plans, which plan, which methods or activities can favour teaching in this kind of classroom. At the beginning of my thesis, we had already different trails to answer to this question : differentiation, favour tutoring, classroom space, and autonomy too. To find these answers, to begin, a questionnaire has been circulated, on internet and especially on social networks, targeting group of multigrade teachers only. A huge amount of answers has been collected, which helped to focus on the most important themes. Then, with them, we have developed an interview guide to make more advanced several interviews, with some teachers, who have answered to the questionnaire too. These interviews have enabled to deepen the issue. So, we have wanted to find solutions, strategies, to help teachers who are in these classes.
