Les obligations sociales dans les PME : adaptation du droit du travail et évolution de la Gestion des Ressources Humaines

Abstract : Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are a very special category of companies. Their resources are limited, which implies a specific functioning and management. They encounter difficulties, particularly to understand and apply the many social obligations. The legislator, aware of these problems, gradually adapts the labor law to small structures. In SMEs, Human Resources Management is not developed as in large companies; it is limited to the respect of the legal framework. However, in order to grow and take up challenges ahead, SMEs need to push forward the Human Resources function to become more strategic and value-creating.
