Réadapter la place de l’arbre dans le paysage rural pour le développement d’une agriculture de transition : le cas de la trogne

Abstract : The place of non-woodland trees, in alignment, isolated or in edges has deeply changed during the evolution of agricultural systems. Furthermore, the number of trees is decreasing a lot since the beginning of the XXth century. Trees have been let on the roadside of agriculture and rural landscape. In an ecological transition and post fossil energy context, it is necessary to put them to use. Pollards trees is an example of field and farmer tree. In the aim of readapting forms and uses of trees outside the forest, we can make their integration easier in the agricultural system. This agricultural and cultural repositioning around trees brings autonomy to rural society and allows it to be more resilient. In this paper, we would like to show some reflection around ecology, agroforestry and landscaping principle which can bring a local and durable development to rural territory and farms.
