Autonomie et course de durée en cycle 3

Abstract : From the beginning of their scholarships up to their working life, individuals will strive to become autonomous, so as to make them rational and free people in charge of their own choices. As a result, Cycle number three of the French schooling system sets a milestone for the child's development as he goes from primary to secondary school, and enters as well into preteen period. Consequently this thesis deals with the learning processes of pupils at CM1 French school grade, that aim at developing this autonomy described above. This research is made through physical education (EPS) and one activity in particular, long distance running, which are singularly different to other disciplines. We will then study the evolution of the pupils' behaviors during a sequence of the APSA (activités physiques, sportives et artistiques) through observation, interviews and a questionnaire. Thus we will observe that this type of sequence generates motor and mental adaptation among the pupils, allowing them to improve among other things their global auto-regulation ability and their self-awareness.
