Les pragmatèmes d’ouverture et de clôture de l’interaction en japonais dans les romans de Murakami Haruki : une étude de corpus

Abstract : Pragmatemes (Mel'čuk 1995) are linguistic subjects of study that have been attracting researchers’ attention for years. These particular phraseological structures are mainly characterised by their strong anchoring to their prototypical situation of use. We postulate here the hypothesis that, on the one hand, the notion of pragmateme is relevant to describe the ritualised structures of Japanese, and that, on the other hand, adopting a contrastive perspective casts light upon new typological elements to define the notional frame of pragmatemes. In this paper, we will focus on autonomous polylexical pragmatemes with verbal, nominal or adjectival core, that are used during the opening or the closing of an interaction when performing the speech acts of greeting or bidding farewell. We will also try to propose a typology of this phenomenon starting from an analysis taking into account the structure of the interaction in Japanese and the linguistic means deployed to realise the act of salutation.
