Master Thesis

La prise en compte du plurilinguisme en UPE2A : enjeux et impacts pour l’apprentissage de la langue française. UPE2A du collège Toulouse-Lautrec à Toulouse

Abstract : This Master’s thesis is part of an essentially qualitative approach. The field study takes into account allophone learners but also, in the context of inclusion, adults who accompany them to varying degrees in their learning of the French language. The theoretical study highlights several dimensions underlying the notion of "plurilingualism": psycho-affective, sociolinguistic and glottopolitical. The analysis shows the positive aspects of plurilingualism, but also the obstacles to taking it into account, both among allophone students and in the educational community. Finally, this Master’s thesis makes concrete proposals for overcoming these obstacles, drawing in particular on levers already present in the field.
