La fée, l’enchanteur, et leur(s) monde(s) : réécritures antiques et médiévales dans La Quête d’Ewilan

Abstract : Major work of children's literature, The Quest of Ewilan, by Pierre Bottero draws its roots from ancient literature, classical mythology and medieval legends. Our study focuses on the characters of the trilogy with regard to these inspirations, and particularly on the representations of fairies and enchanters. We looked at the genre of these characters, their origins, and the places they belong to. At the end of these different approaches, we were able to identify the specificities and the originality of what is akin to a form of rewriting.
