Intérêt des indices sensoriels au sein de la réhabilitation lexico-sémantique des patients présentant la maladie d'Alzheimer et la maladie à corps de Lewy

Abstract : Patients with neurodegeneratives diseases may have a semantic memory deficit, which has a considerable impact on verbal communication. With the delisting of drugs, many non-pharmacological therapies are developing, such as the use of sensory cues alongside this population. Therefore, the aim of this study is to assess the relevance of a lexico-semantic rehabilitation based on sensory cues to maintain semantic representations and knowledges. The rehabilitation protocol has been offered to three patients with neurodegeneratives diseases over 22 sessions. The results suggest an efficacy of a lexico-semantic treatment, using sensory cues, for these patients. However, we will have to consider some measures for improvement in order to validate these promising results on a large scale.
