Optimisation des conditions culturales et évaluation de la qualité nutritionnelle et sensorielle de tomates en aquaponie

Abstract : Nowadays, more and more production systems are being developed, and have to be resilient and non-environment destructive. Aquaponics, a mix of fish and horticultural production seems to be an innovative solution. It allows to clean fish waste water effluents full of nutrients, and to grow crops without mineral fertilizer. Here, the feasibility of growing cocktail tomatoes with aquaponics was studied, compared to conventional hydroponics. Aquaponics yields are 10% higher, and this difference is higher when a potassium foliar application was done. Nutritional and organoleptic qualities are equivalent. Mass balance studies with nutrient dynamics indicate that the crops growing surface and fishes management could be improved linked to the nutrient concentration.
