Le "carnet de bord", un outil pour encourager l'autonomie chez les adultes migrants allophones dans le cadre des formations DELF de Pôle Emploi

Abstract : Whether voluntary or forced, migration usually coincides with a loss of autonomy, a loss that varies in its intensity and duration depending on the person. Learning the language of the host country can greatly contribute to regaining this autonomy so it is important that migrants can learn continuously and not only through formal language training. Helping students to acquire learning autonomy then becomes of on the challenges for language teachers. As part of my Master’s degree in Language Didactics, I conducted an actionresearch with the teaching team of a Lyon association which provides French language training towards the DELF examination, on behalf of Pôle Emploi (National French employment center). My goal was to adapt the daily logbook that learners use to make it a tool for learning autonomy and thus help language teachers to set up an educational approach of "learning how to learn".
