L'escape game, un jeu coopératif favorisant le transfert et le réinvestissement de connaissances en histoire

Abstract : History is a complex discipline which creates a common culture and promotes the learning of living together. Gameis a medium for learning, which is becoming more democratic, in particular by taking an increasingly important place in elementary school, whereas it has long been reserved for nursery school. The experiment which we carried out is based on the learning of history by playing, with CM2 pupils, more particularly the learningofthe passage of Napoleon to democracy in the 19thcentury. We have implemented a plan to test the impact of cooperation on the transfer of knowledge between students. This experiment was also designed to test the impact of the game on the reinvestment of historical knowledge. To achieve this experiment, we did a pre-test and a post-test, in addition to the escape game, to compare and analyze the data collected. If we observed that playing could facilitate the reinvestment of knowledge, the experiment also demonstrated that the interactions between the pupils have a significant impact on their learning and that today's teaching cannot be without it.
