Devenir mère grâce à un don d’ovocytes : comment accompagner ces grossesses ?

Abstract : First of all, the monitoring and accompaniment of pregnant women, who have used the oocyte donation, is a subject that has not been studied very much. We have, therefore, conducted semi-structured interviews of four women, who have become mother, thanks to an oocyte donation to the CECOS at the CHU of Caen. It turns out that accepting infertility is the most difficult step to take. Overall, the use of oocyte donation is well accepted and appears to be a solution for the couples who are concerned. Pregnancy seems important in the construction of motherhood. In general, women are as satisfied of their monitoring at the CECOS as their pregnancy monitoring. However, we have been able to realise that these women would have appreciated an earlier treatment of their infertility.
