Attentes partagées concernant le développement d’un outil numérique d’accompagnement nutritionnel en soins primaires : une recherche de consensus par méthode Delphi-Abaque

Abstract : Introduction : Nutritional care is at the core of primary prevention. Digitals tools offer an effective manner to promote modifications in health behaviour. The objective of this study was to establish patients and health care professionals’ expectations for a new shared digital tool to support patient’s nutritional care regardless of his condition. Materials and methods : A search of consensus using Delphi-Abaque method was run with experts who answered to 3 iterative questionnaires from January to July 2020, through the online platform ColorInsight®. A consensus was defined with an agreement rate over 80%. Results : 26 experts (patients, primary care professionals, specialized in nutrition or e-health) were surveyed. The major points of agreement were : the development of a digital tool in the form of a website and a mobile app with regular updates and two distinct interfaces for the patient and the health care professional ; a feature allowing to carry out one or several food consumption survey and suggesting personalized goals ; the ability to browse through educational and human resources content (expert patients, health care professionals) ; a regular use which supports nutritional care and enables lifestyle changes. Conclusion : This study demonstrates shared expectations regarding the development of a digital tool for nutritional support at any step of prevention, but also highlights complexities in execution.
