L’autogestion : un moyen d’habiter la ville « différemment » ? Le cas de la « maison Mimir » : une analyse des relations entre autogestionnaires strasbourgeois et institutions locales

Abstract : This report concerns the special form of organization that is self-management, via a study of the operation of a self-managed association and its relationships with classic institutionnal actors. Participant observation and interviews with volunteers from "la maison Mimir" as well as elected officials and advisers from Strasbourg city show us the deep activist nature of the association. Mimir was born and keeps living thanks to the anarchist and libertarian ideals of its volunteers. They manage to be completely independant from Strasbourg city hall thanks to the associative network in which they work. The social and culturel space they built consists of a multitude of different expérimentations that are meant to show that it is possible and sometimes preferable to do things differently.
