Chirurgie endonasale : élaboration d’un guide de dissection et de vidéos de formation à destination des internes

Abstract : Endonasal surgery is complex, confined with a long learning curve. The aim of this work was to evaluate the quality of the training videos available on the Youtube platform for this surgery and to create a tool as didactic as possible for the interns in their training. After having established ten quality criteria to evaluate French endonasal surgery videos we found that over the last ten years only 0.3% of the videos that met the "endonasal surgery" criterion were of quality. To try to respond to this lack we have established an interactive dissection guide that can be used on all digital media associated with a set of ten videos available on Youtube that gathers the most frequently performed surgeries in practice. These videos last less than ten minutes, are taken from real surgeries and commented in order to provide the most didactic tool possible. Endonasal surgery lends itself particularly well to this exercise. Providing a dematerialized tool make sense since access to the operating room is decreasing for interns. The creation of a website gathering quality videos for surgical training would represent a clear step forward for ENT residents.
