Abstract : The human immunodeficiency virus has been a pandemic for over 30 years. In 2019, 23% of young people aged 15 to 24 felt badly informed. The objective of this study was to assess the knowledge of a town in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region students about VIH, its screening, its prevention. We also wanted to make a current statement of students practices 723 students were interviewed via an online questionnaire. 54.19% of students have a lack of knowledge about VIH, and only 17,09% students have knowledge satisfactory about risk behaviour and the right conduct to adopt. 78,62% students would like more informations about VIH, its screening and its prevention. These results highlight a lack of knowledge students. It would be benifical to students to have a teaching about STI at the beginning of their superior studies.
