Modélisation numérique hydro-sédimentaire 1D d’une rivière tidale : le cas de l’Adour maritime

Abstract : The Adour estuary is an urbanized area with human, economic and environmental stakes. The tide meets the river flow of the Adour. The result of confronting these forcing is a re-suspension of the sediments present in the estuary, which can lead to the appearance of high concentration values. On the other hand, floods of Adour and Nive (one of its tributaries) have negative consequences on this area. This work is based on the development of an 1D numerical hydro-sedimentary model to improve the understanding and forecast of the phenomena.
