La collaboration dans l’interprétation d’une situation monologique, de la langue des signes française vers le français

Abstract : This dissertation draws on the work of Jemina Napier to study the cooperative principle when interpreting a monologic talk from French Sign Language into French. This involves mainly the observation, using a video recording of a speech in sign language (university course), of the different strategies put in place by the interpreters, as well as the different methods of collaboration (between interpreters, between interpreters and speaker). These strategies and modalities will then be analyzed through the lense of Daniel Gile's Efforts model in order to assess their impact on the flow and quality of interpretation.
