Proposition d’une stratégie de plantation de douze hectares de vignes dans la région des Aspres, Pyrénées-Orientales : l’expansion du Mas Bécha sur les terres roussillonnaises

Abstract : A vineyard block is the wine producer’s main tool. Succeeding in the vineyard plantation so is a milestone in the grapevines’ start into production. Technical choices, such as soil preparation or planting details (density, row’s orientation, plant material) entirely affect grapes’ yield, berry quality and stump lifespan. Mas Bécha is a wine cellar from the Aspres region, Pyrénées-Orientales, set on a 21 hectares vineyard. The company’s dynamism and its manager (Charles Perez)’s keenness tend to expand its production capacity through a 12 hectares plantation by 2025. The planting plan includes blocks identification and agronomic analysis, admendment and fertilizing programs for field preparation, blocks’ zoning, plantation tasks’ scheduling, and costs analysing. This work allows Charles Perez to benefit from a main line of thinking over all parameters affecting this massive project, and to adapt them to his production goals.
