La production de maquettes 3D à partir de nuages de points et leur valorisation en rendus réalistes et en réalité virtuelle

Abstract : Scanners development enables land surveyors to produce building’s scatter plots, which make 3D modelling possible. Then, the models can be operated within a BIM process. The aim is to automate lengthy and repetitive modelling tasks as much as possible for them to gain in efficiency. This work focuses on the automatic detection of the building’s framework using a Python program and Revit. We assessed modelling accuracy by comparing the 3D model and the scatter plot with Cyclone 3DR. The promotion of 3D models was carried out by realistic rendering. To add value to the 3D models, it is possible to add textures and to represent its environment. Pictures, panoramas, films and full immersive virtual reality are ways to achieve more realistic renders of the 3D models.
