La diffusion d’une innovation sociale de « sport pour le développement » à une échelle locale. Étude de cas auprès de l’ONG PLAY International et de la « Playdagogie » déployée sur la Ville de Lyon

Abstract : While the philanthropic vision of Sport for development was originally car-ried by some convinced individuals, it is now perceptible in the actions of international bodies, such as UNESCO or United Nations (Beutler, 2008). However, if this innovative conception of sport seems to have spread on an international scale, what about at a more local level? In this exploratory research, we will focus on the study of "Playdagogy", a social innovation created by the education through sport NGO PLAY International. This innovation is based on the use of sports games and debates as tools for awareness-raising and prevention of societal issues (e.g. gender equality). After going back to the conception of this innovation in Bolivia in the early 2000s, we will analyse its concrete diffusion within the city of Lyon.
