Psychomotricité préventive en milieu professionnel : connaissance du menu par corps à la cantine

Abstract : Among the various domains of the psychomotor therapist’s intervention, there is one less well known: workplace prevention. Employees’ resources are sometimes uneven, all the more since the health crisis we are currently going through. The psychomotor therapist can play his role in their accompaniment.
In this context, we wanted to offer sessions to employees in charge of catering in two schools from the Île-de-France. We carried out a study to assess benefits of our sessions to these professionals whose stress and musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are the main identified and quantified issues. In taking consideration that the stress felt at work could have psychological as well as physical consequences, our objective was to limit organism’s response to face stress and to prevent MSDs’ worsening or emergence. In order to manage their stress, we organized sessions with two mediations as much different as complementary. This thesis relates our project, which is taking place in an experimental internship, from its conception to its development. It also testifies our experience and our posture of interns.
