"Apprendre à vivre dans ce nouveau corps" quand la relaxation vient aider les personnes atteintes de la maladie de Huntington dans l'exploration de leur corporéité

Abstract : Huntington's disease is a rare, inherited, neurodegenerative disease that occurs between the ages of 30 and 50. Its symptoms can be grouped into a triad of disorders: cognitive disorders, psychiatric disorders and motor disorders. These disrupt the integration of corporeality in people with the disease. For this, the psychomotor therapist, through mediations, will come to support the corporeality of the patients so that he can stay in touch with the world around them. We will discuss here the mediation relaxation which allows to promote the link between the soma and the psyche. In addition, this tool makes it possible to really play on the tone, an element strongly disturbed in Huntington's disease. Through two treatments, we will see how relaxation has come to support corporeality in people with Huntington's disease. We will support this notion of corporeality through the role of the psychomotor therapist in the relationship as well as with people with multiple disabilities and water mediation.
