Intérêts du polyfluorure d'ammonium en prothèse conjointe

Abstract : Along the past thirty years, the minimal adhesive dentistry and biomimetism concepts have allowed the emergence of new less-invasive care solutions in restorative dentistry. Among them, adhesive ceramic restorations take an important place in the current therapeutic arsenal. The usual ceramic bonding, whose characteristics will be remind in the first part, is based on a well-defined protocol, requiring hydrofluoric acid to etch the prosthetic surface. However, this acid has various disadvantages which we will explain in a second part. The ammonium polyfluoride, which we will present in the last part, seem an alternative. The aim of this work is to analyze, with regard to the literature and clinical data, the advantages and drawbacks of this new ceramic primer.
