Évolution des concepts de préparations à minima des inlays, onlays, overlays en CAO et CFAO

Abstract : A paradigm shift is taking place in contemporary restorative dentistry coupled with the constant evolution of digital technology. The adhesive partial restorations represent this new dentistry which wants to be economical in dental tissue, adhesive and biomimetic. This requires clinicians to change their practice, including forgetting the strict rules of preparations for traditional crown. The object of this thesis is therefore to describe the evolution of new concepts of preparation of partial bonded restorations in CAD/CAM. To do this, in the first part, the developments concerning CAD/CAM will be described. Then the second part will present the new concepts of preparations with the different strategies that the clincian can use. The third part will expose the architectural principles and examples of these new preparations.
