L'apport de l'utilisation des implants à état de surface mixte

Abstract : The replacement of missing teeth by implant techniques is now well documented and a lot of clinical studies have been conducted to improve safety, predictability and comfort for the patient. Implants with a moderately rough surface (TiUnite, for example) were therefore introduced, with greatly improved stability, which opened the door to very interesting therapeutics for the clinician and the patient. One example is the immediate loading of total dentures on 4 implants according to the All On Four concept. However, this type of implant had a major disadvantage when exposed, the roughness increasing bacterial concentration, these were very difficult to clean. Mixed surface implants were then born with the idea of keeping the advantages of both systems while being improved by a new surface state. Prophylactic maneuvers are greatly improved by the smooth surface of the neck which allows, if exposure occurs, to perform therapy without the need for implantoplasty and retains the characteristics of the TiUnite anodized surface which is very well documented for its success rate, primary stability and use in immediate loading and extraction/immediate implantation therapeutics.
