Évaluation de la qualité de vie après réhabilitation complète au maxillaire supérieur

Abstract : The treatment of complete edentulous patients has greatly evolved since the development of implant treatments, which diversify the management of these patients, providing a solution to the functional, aesthetic and psychological consequences of tooth loss. This work describes a retrospective study carried out on a sample of 20 patients who received a fixed complete implant prosthetic treatment in the upper jaw at the Odontology Department of La Timone Hospital in Marseille. The main purpose of this work was to assess the evolution of the quality of life of patients after complete fixed implant-prosthetic rehabilitation in the maxilla. Patient satisfaction was estimated using a GOHAI (Geriatric Oral Health Assessment Index) questionnaire. The study showed that fully edentulous maxillary patients with implant-supported prosthetic rehabilitation had a significantly improved quality of life after treatment compared to their initial situation.
