La controverse autour des éoliennes en Grèce. Territoires, discours et stratégies de communication des militants

Abstract : The implantation of wind turbines in Greek territories has from the beginning triggered reactions from the inhabitants. The concept that is often invoked to explain the protests of the inhabitants towards these investments is the NIBY (Not In My Backyard), a concept that has proven to be insufficient to explain them. On the other hand, many protests aim at defending the environment of their territory, demand the participation of the inhabitants in the projects that concern their territory or are accompanied by a vision for a societal transformation. In addition, some research has shown that there is a multitude of arguments on the part of communities that are linked to the particularities of the territories. The Greek territory is quite heterogeneous, with mountains and islands. In this work we try to characterize the discourses and strategies of the activists according to the territory.
