Implication du microbiote dans la physiopathologie de pathologies fréquentes et place des ingrédients et aliments prébiotiques et probiotiques

Abstract : The microbiota is an important player in human health as shown by the growing interest of researches on it. It exerts protective, metabolic and immune functions and communicates with the brain. Products that can beneficially modulate the composition of the microbiota exist under different regulatory status. Dietary supplements and foods are positioned in a growing market worldwide. The role of the microbiota and of prebiotics and probiotics in the pathophysiology and / or treatment of diseases such as: Clostridioides difficile infection, chronic diseases with nutritional implications (hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, obesity), psychiatric diseases ( depression, anxiety) and neurodegenerative (Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease) have been more or less investigated depending on the diseases presented. Regarding studies evaluating the interest of prebiotic ingredients and probiotic foods in the prevention or treatment of the previous pathologies, the promising results remain to be confirmed by clinical studies. The concept of health by the intestine could in the near future allow the development of new preventive and therapeutic solutions in pathologies with increasing incidence in industrialized countries.
