Les systèmes mono-instrumentaux en endodontie : focus sur le XP-endo Shaper

Abstract : Mechanized endodontics coupled with the addition of nickel-titanium have greatly contributed to the development of safer, faster and more reproductible treatments. Initially it was necessary to follow a sequence of different instruments, but for the past few years manufacturers have developed many mono-instrument systems which, thanks to their geometry and their alloy, have brought significant changes. The Swiss company FKG has decided to go further by developing an instrument designed to achieve an anatomical shaping. With an enveloping movement that whips the walls, it is now the file that is supposed to adapt to the morphology of the canal and not the contrary. Despite some interesting results, there are currently only a few significants studies that can actually evaluate this instrument.
