Le ressenti des médecins généralistes du pays vannetais concernant la réflexion éthique autour des situations complexes

Abstract : Objectives : Explore the feelings of general practitioners regarding their management of complex situations, and collect the mobilized resources and the possible needs of assistance in ethical reflection. Methods : Qualitative study by conducting 20 semi-structured interviews with general practitioners in health territory 4. Results : Face to complex situations, their feelings were often ambivalent. Some could evoque fruitful discussions once they trust themselves, however others could be anxious, feel guilty and doubt their skills. Even if they can address to the close ones of patients or their colleagues, they often felt isolated and inadequacy of ethical reflection. Discussion : Participants' feelings and the complex situations were consistent with the current literature. The study suggests the training could be optimized. It would also be interesting to study the impact of a structure such as an ethics hotline.
