Faire de la co-conception avec les personnes âgées : promesses, difficultés et enjeux

Abstract : Today, more and more organisations are implementing user-centred innovation approaches. Faced with this emergence, organisations are adopting a methodology to involve their users: the co-design methodology. This methodology aims to involve users from the beginning to the end by responding to their needs. As a result, we involve the whole population in co-creating the products of tomorrow. The elderly public is the one with whom this methodology is least used. Due to the lack of involvement of this audience, many organisations such as the livings labs are turning to the co-design methodology for the elderly by involving them in products that address their specific problems. This involvement should become more effective as a result of the changing demographics of the elderly population. Promises of involvement are put forward, but some difficulties still remain. We must therefore confront these promises with the limitations of the field in order to obtain the main issues to develop this co-design methodology in the future.
