Quelles sont les échelles utilisées pour le dépistage de la dépression de l'enfant et de l'adolescent de 6 à 18 ans en soins primaires ? Une revue de littérature faite sur SCOPUS, portant sur les articles 2242 à 3321

Abstract : Dépression is a leading cause of morbidity and disability in children and adolescents. Diagnosing it is a particularly difficult public health problem to solve. In fact, it is difficult to identify due to a wide range of symptoms. Diagnosis is clinical, but detection can be done using depression scales. This literature review aims to analyze them in the context of screening children and adolescents aged 6 to 18 in primary care. Method : systematic literature review based on the results of the Scopus search engine carried out according to the PRISMA protocol. The bibliography of all included articles was added to the inclusion process. The methodological quality of all of these studies was assessed using the QUADAS-2 criteria. Results : out of 1073 articles, 4 met inclusion criteria and 5 from their bibliography were added. 8 scales were analyzed: CDI, CDI-10, CDI-LA, CES-D, CES-DC, RADS, RADS-2K and DSD. Their psychometric data, their characteristics, and the specificities of the populations concerned were studied and compared. Discussion : the analysis of these studies allowed to identify the determining criteria in order to be able to use the scales in a screening context. Their questionnaire must be quick, understandable, reproducible for all patients, and accessible for caregivers. No scale fits all of these criteria, and they are all lacking psychometric data. Conclusion : it seems difficult to conclude on the use of a particular scale among the 8 without conducting new research to explore the subject in depth. These results are to be linked to those of my partner and to those of other researchers who have done the same kind of review.
