Résultats du don en fonction de l'âge et de la réserve ovarienne des donneuses d'ovocytes, étude rétrospective au CECOS de Bordeaux

Abstract : Introduction: the screening for potential oocyte donors according to their ovarian reserve are not uniform from one center to another. We wanted to know if the exclusion criteria in our center were satisfactory. Materials and methods: observational, analytical, retrospective study at the CECOS of Bordeaux, between 2016 and 2020, in oocyte donors. The main objective was to look for an association between the ovarian reserve of the donors (according to age, AMH and AFC) and the results of the donation in terms of mature oocytes collected from the donors and pregnancy rate (early pregnancy and evolutive pregnancy) in the recipient patients. Results: no significant difference in oocyte yield or pregnancy rates according to the age of our donors. AMH is a good indicator of oocyte yield, with a cut off point of 1.5 ng/ml to obtain a satisfactory response. No relationship between AMH and pregnancy rate. AFC seems to be related to oocyte yield, with a significant threshold of 10 antral follicles. However, not correlated with pregnancy rates. Taking into account both AMH and AFC (AMH < 1.2 ng/mL and AFC < 5), this would exclude 3 patients or 1.6 % of our donors, patients who did not get pregnant. Conclusion: it would be acceptable to adopt as new exclusion criteria patients with an AMH < 1.2 ng/mL and a concomitant AFC < 5 in our Bordeaux center.
