Les entretiens pharmaceutiques des patients sous anticancéreux par voie orale à l'officine

Abstract : In 2021, cancer remains the leading cause of death in France despite therapeutic progress. Faced with this observation, the pharmaceutical community is increasingly confronted with the management of chemotherapy treatments. These treatments can lead to the appearance of acute and/or chronic toxicities and significantly alter the patient's quality of life. In addition, the occurrence of adverse effects can lead to poor compliance with treatment, which can lead to a reduction of its effectiveness. The pharmaceutical community must therefore be able to propose an optimized intake plan, detect drug interactions, secure self-medication and provide the necessary advice to prevent and manage adverse effects. That is why, after the pharmaceutical interview of patients about anticoagulants (AVK and DOA) and asthmatic patients, the new theme published in the Official Journal in France is "support for patients on oral chemotherapy" and must be put in place at the pharmacy from 2020.
