Applications et limites d'une téléinstruction : didactique numérisée en temps de confinement

Abstract : The Covid-19 sanitary crisis caused a brutal stop of the activity and the services that rule our day-to-day lives. The first lockdown of the French sanitary state of emergency, from March 16th to May 11th 2020, is an unprecedented case study due to the nature of the disruptive event (a pandemic troubling our routine from one day to the next), the means put in place to soften it (an isolation imposed when possible) as well as the means put in place to maintain our way of living. This thesis focuses on the secondary school teachers’ adaptation, specifically through the improvised use of digital technologies, in order to sustain the « pedagogical continuity ».
What is left of the school with no anchorage, especially when it is so abruptly removed? What happens to the teacher-students relationship following the arrival of an impromptuous mediator, the computer? This research thesis aims to expose the educational issues of this case study and the societal issues that they entail: the first lockdown, admittedly exceptional, reveals above all the preexisting failures of the French educational system.
