Définition d'un plan de transport adapté pour le Sillon Alpin Sud

Abstract : The line between Grenoble and Valence, also called "Sillon Alpin Sud", is a railway line on which major works will be carried out for three years, which will require a total interruption of the traffic on part of the line from July, 8th to August, 10th 2007. The aim of this training session is to work out a new transport plan for this period integrating the train services which can be maintained and the substitute bus services that have to be set up. It is also necessary to reorganize the rail production, by elaborating new rotas for the engines, the drivers and the ticket inspectors, in order to save money on these means of production so as to cover the additional cost entailed by the substitute services. In order to choose the most efficient transport plan, several service schemes are elaborated, which are then measured against economic criteria. Although none of the schemes has been chosen yet to be implemented in 2007, it is obvious that all of them will allow to save money on the means of production. The final choice will be made after the training session.
