Utilité, utilisabilité et amélioration du prototype EXXELANT

Abstract : EXXELANT (EXample eXtractor Engine for LANguage Teaching) is a tool developed within the framework of the European network of excellence Kaleidoscope's Idill project. This application allows to browse a French-language-learner corpus and extract examples corresponding to the specified criteria. This dissertation is about the improvements carried out to the prototype aiming to increase its usability: login system, selected sentences or text export, corpus enrichment by allowing teachers to create new corpora and add texts to the database and interface for manual error markup. The last part deals with the necessity of usage tracking in a multimedia educational tool. It offers a presentation of track types and their usefulness along with the way to represent them.
