Élaboration et construction d'un jeu de conscience grammaticale avec de jeunes adolescents d'ITEP

Abstract : The purpose of this study is to examine how to involve young teenagers of ITEP experiencing a school failure, in the elaboration and construction of a game on grammatical consciousness in order to improve their orthographical capabilities. The constructivists (Piaget, 1979) and socio-constructivists (Bruner, 1983) learning theories were particularly enlightening, as were the contributions of the psychodynamic trends and the data of biology. The choice was then made, with B. Aumont and J-M. Mesnier (1992), to consider the action of learning as the combination of two attitudes: searching and undertaking. After having chosen the support of the game and planned to approach the grammatical consciousness, we proposed to two young teenagers with school difficulties building a game on the noun, the article, the adjective and the verb. Once this game was finished, the second part of the study consisted in playing. The results showed that the construction had had positive effects on learnings for one of them.
