Vers des pratiques durables en pépinière : contrôle des populations de ravageurs par l'utilisation de plantes fleuries. Contrôle des adventices en pleine terre par la mise en place d'enherbement

Abstract : Facing the new expectations of the modern society, horticultural companies have to change their pratices. In the context of the construction of a new production site, Lepage nursery wants to develop the production in the sense of substainable production. It is in this framework that was set up tests to replace weed chemical control by grazing foot-path in ground-planted mother plants and test of implementation of flowering plants in order to reduce aphid densities by promoting natural enemies. Tests have shown that weed infestations were limited by grazing. Poaceea based grazing were more efficient than Fabaceae based grazing. More time will be necessary to evaluate the efficiency of grazing, before generalizing this method. Flowering plants implementation tests were efficient in attracting natural enemies of aphis and reducing their populations but this was not enough to reduce aphid populations to a acceptable level.
