Concilier deux visions de la culture scientifique et technique, un enjeu pour le partenariat INRA-CPIE

Abstract : The partnership between the INRA and the CPIE is an interesting example of partnership between a public research center and an association of environmental education. Their respective goals converge on scientific culture, mainly on Man and nature themes. The INRA contributes with a scientific guarantee, scientific knowledge and abilities while the CPIE contributes with pedagogic skills and an associative network. CPIE are respectful toward science and a strong will to take part in scientific culture. By promoting an education baser on participation and interaction, their main goal is to induce responsible behaviour toward the environment. The INRA, a scientific center with mainly applied researches which conclude in strong interactions with the society, see in a scientific culture a way of educating people and explaining science in a vertical way.
