La circulation des formes culturelles dans les dispositifs techniques : le réseau social et les jeunes immigrés

Abstract : Social network can be understood as a technical device because of the fact that it combines both technical conventions and social conventions. Indeed, it can lead content production or construction of new forms of sociability and let the user leave its mark on the social network through contextual uses. Thus, cultural forms can travel this social network and even more if users represent a specific population. The study that we conducted on young Malagasy French teenagers Facebook users has allowed us to show that cultural forms based on cultural backgroung circulate in the social network. It shows a desire to claim identity of individuals in order to maintain an idealization of territorial identity through the incorporation of pages dedicated to the country in personal profiles.
