Étude des processus d'acquisition et de traitement de données acquises par aéronef léger pour les travaux d'inspection de la SNCF

Abstract : The model aircraft, which was previously mainly a hobby or a means of demonstration of large-scale models, is becoming an important player in the new methods of land surveying in difficult areas. At the source of these technological advances, the army is developing UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) sensors, initially for the purpose of defense, available to the general public from now on. In view of ensuring the safety of goods and people traveling on the national rail network, SNCF wants to evaluate the relevance of the use of drones for surveillance operations and infrastructure maintenance. To analyze this innovative method of survey we conducted an economic analysis of this new technology as part of a study of reinforcement of rock walls, particularly by comparing data from surveys collected by a drone with data acquired by existing mature technologies such as 3D laser scanner or terrestrial photogrammetry.
