Étude comparative de la prise en charge des femmes enceintes en France et au Royaume-Uni

Abstract : Care of pregnant women during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period is not the same between France and the United Kingdom. Does it have an impact on mortality and morbidity? A literature review was conducted to compare the United Kingdom and France. This study focused on professional practices, the characteristics of women and professionals as well as maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality in both countries. The less medicalised care of pregnant women in the United Kingdom do not seem to affect morbidity and mortality. A French adaptation seems possible with midwives at the heart of pregnant women's antenatal care.
